In our previous post, we shared our intention to provide the deeper meaning behind our company tagline — Passion. People. Performance. That post covered the passion we look for in the people we hire. Now let's look at how people with passion make msg global such a great company.
First, people are at the heart of everything we do. We are in the knowledge business, and it takes people with the right combination of business and technical know-how to support our customers in whatever improvement journey they are on.
Second, it takes people with a real passion for helping others. People who aren't afraid of commitment. They understand the only way to see a cause through to successful completion is to be dedicated to it, to think of the impact on others before they think of themselves, to be as aware of their weaknesses as they are of their strengths, and to be resolved to surrounding themselves with people who possess complementary talents and skillsets.
We look for people who define their success by the success of our customers. Their determination to serve others — colleagues and customers — is what sets them apart, and they're proud of it.
That's why our people work the way they work. There's a job to do, an outcome to achieve, a way to make things simpler. And we typically use or create software to do that. But it's not always just a "plug it in and make it work" situation. It takes people engaging with people to fully understand the dynamics of the environment. It takes listening and caring enough to fully grasp everything at play and then figure out how to make it work.
And that's why our people are simply the best. They have impeccable technical skills and care enough to give our customers the support they need to achieve their goals. At the end of the day, it's just people helping people.
If you work with us, you're going to get the best people, the most passionately committed people, and the best job they're capable of doing. That's why they're here. And that's what they're hired to do.
We don't expect anything less from our people. And we certainly don't expect you to.
